The bride's preparation, without the rush

The weeks before the wedding fill up with appointments. How the bride can spread her sessions and trials out calmly, and keep the last week for rest instead of running around.

The bride's preparation isn't just the wedding day. It's a series of small appointments over months: a makeup trial, a dress fitting, care sessions. Spread out early, they let the bride reach the wedding rested instead of worn out.

Spread it over the weeks

  • 3 months before: choose the makeup artist and the hair salon, and book them. According to Masrawy (September 2026), makeup packages start at about EGP 5,000 and can reach EGP 25,000; the details are in the wedding price guide.
  • 2 months before: a makeup and hair trial in the look the bride wants, photographed in daylight.
  • 1 month before: the care sessions she's used to. It's best not to try anything new on her skin or hair at this point.
  • 2 weeks before: the last dress fitting, in the shoes she'll wear.
  • The last week: good sleep, few appointments, and everything for the day packed in one bag.

The wedding-day bag

  • A copy of the day's schedule and the vendors' numbers.
  • Tissues, pins, and a small needle and thread.
  • Comfortable shoes for the end of the night.
  • A phone charger, water and a light snack.

Health

For any question about health, medicines or particular foods before the wedding, ask a doctor. This guide is about planning and timing only.

On Zaghrouta

In the bride's plan, in the wedding station, the bride finds a ready schedule of sessions around her wedding date. She can change it, and Zaghrouta reminds her before each appointment. The plan is hers; sharing it with the groom or the family is her choice.

She'll find real salons and beauty centres in the bride category and makeup artists in makeup. For choosing a makeup artist and the trial, read the makeup and hair guide.
