Vendor terms

Last updated Oct 23, 2026 · version 0.1

In short: Zaghrouta lists real wedding businesses with their real prices. To be listed, you send your ID and, where your category needs one, a licence or permit: an automatic check reads them, our team can review its decision, and you can appeal once. Your documents and your phone number never appear on your page. Couples who are signed in contact you on WhatsApp. A booking and its deposit are between you and the couple: the deposit goes straight to you, and we never hold money. Reviews come only from confirmed bookings, and we don't remove one because you ask. Zaghrouta is free for vendors at launch; any paid plan will be announced in advance and sold on the web only.

Who these terms are for

These vendor terms apply to anyone who lists a wedding business on Zaghrouta (Me → «أنا مورّد» in the app or the web app). They add to the terms of use: where the two differ about your business, these vendor terms apply. Everything you post also follows the content rules, and complaints explains how we handle problems. The privacy policy explains what we keep about you and your business.

  • A business page belongs to the business. The person who opens it confirms they may act for the business and accept these terms for it.
  • You must be 18 or older, and the business must offer a real wedding service in Egypt.

Joining and verification

  • You join with the WhatsApp number on your account, which you confirm with a code. Couples reach you on this number.
  • Before your page is listed, you send your national ID and the proof your category needs: a venue's licence, a ma'zoun's syndicate card, a travel agency's tourism licence, and a drone permit if you offer drone shots. When you send them, you agree that they are checked.
  • An automatic check (AI) reads the documents and your page. It lists the business, asks for changes with a reason you can fix, or rejects it. A business is rejected only when it isn't a wedding service, offers something we don't list, or looks fake. Our team can review and reverse any decision.
  • If you think a decision is wrong, tap «اعترضوا على القرار» (Appeal this decision) in the app and say why. You get one appeal per decision, and the business is then decided again.
  • When you change your business's name or documents after it is listed, it is checked again.
  • Your page appears in the governorates where your category is open. Elsewhere it waits until the category opens there.
  • The founding-vendor badge marks the businesses that joined Zaghrouta at its start.

Your documents stay private

  • Your ID, licences and permits never appear on your page, and nobody browsing Zaghrouta can see them.
  • They are read only by the automatic check and, when a decision needs it, by our team, through links that stop working after 5 minutes.
  • They are deleted when you delete your business, or when your account is erased.

Your page and what couples see

  • Your page shows the business name, category, governorate and area, the areas you serve, your photos, your packages with their prices, your availability, visit times, the instalment companies you accept, travel packages, the links to your own pages, reviews and your badges.
  • It is public. Anyone can see it, in the app and on zaghrouta.app, without an account, and search engines can show it.
  • Your phone number is never shown on your page. A couple who is signed in taps to contact you, and WhatsApp opens a chat with your number, with a message that says which package or date they are asking about. We count these contacts for your statistics.
  • People you blocked, and people who blocked you, can't contact you this way.
  • Your page stays listed only while your account is active.

Prices, availability and offers

  • A price on your page is your offer to couples, shown in Egyptian pounds as you publish it. Say clearly what each package includes.
  • Keep your calendar true. A day shown as free must really be free, and a booked day must be closed.
  • A date you open with a special price is your offer for that date. Honour it while it is shown.
  • Don't ask couples for more than the published price for the same thing, and don't add charges that weren't agreed.
  • The price check («السعر ده معقول؟») compares your packages with similar packages on Zaghrouta. It is an estimate, marked «تقديري», not our judgement of your business.

Requests, bookings and deposits

  • A quote request is a question from a couple. A booking exists once you confirm it, and the day is then closed in your calendar.
  • The price, the deposit and the cancellation and refund terms are agreed between you and the couple. Put them in writing before you take any deposit. Zaghrouta is not a party to your agreement.
  • Deposits are paid straight to you. Zaghrouta never receives or holds money for you or for couples. Instalments go through licensed companies on their own terms.
  • You are responsible for your receipts, invoices and taxes, and for delivering what you agreed.
  • If you can't honour a confirmed booking, tell the couple at once and settle with them as you agreed.

Category rules

  • We never list fireworks or pyrotechnics, in any category.
  • Venues show their licence. Drone filming needs a permit. Travel agencies show their tourism licence.
  • Ma'zouns appear in a directory only. There are no packages, bookings or commission for ma'zouns on Zaghrouta.
  • Everything you offer must be legal in Egypt, with the licences and permits the law requires.

Photos and texts

  • Your gallery shows your own work, or work you have permission to use. No stock photos and no photos from other businesses.
  • Show couples and guests only with their consent.
  • Don't put phone numbers, social media handles or links in your photos or texts. Couples contact you through the app, and your own pages go in the links section.
  • Photos go through an automatic safety check, and your texts follow the content rules.

Reviews

  • Only couples with a confirmed booking can review you, after their event.
  • We never remove a review because a vendor asks. We remove a review only when it breaks the content rules; report it from the review and it is checked.
  • Don't offer anything in return for a review, don't review your own business, and don't review your competitors.

Fees

  • Zaghrouta is free for vendors at launch: no fees, no commission and no subscription, and nothing is sold inside the app.
  • If we offer paid plans for vendors later, we will announce them in advance and sell them on the web only. Nothing will be charged without your agreement.
  • Ma'zouns never pay a commission.

How we contact businesses

  • We invite businesses only through their own public pages, by opening a WhatsApp chat (click-to-chat). You decide whether to answer, and we send at most one reminder.
  • If you gave our team your details (at a fair, to our field team, through a referral, or by messaging us), we may prepare a draft page and send you a link to claim it. The link works for 30 days, and couples see nothing until you claim the page and it is verified.
  • Tell us to stop and we add your number to our do-not-contact list. We check that list before every message. It keeps only a coded fingerprint of the number, not the number itself.
  • If a business doesn't answer, sign up or agree within 12 months, we delete its contact record.

Reports, suspension and closing your page

  • Anyone signed in can report a business page. Every report is checked at once, and a page reported by 5 different people is hidden until it is checked again. If the check finds a breach, the page is suspended, and you are told why. You can appeal once.
  • We may close a business page and the account behind it after a serious breach, repeated breaches, or fraud.
  • You can delete your business at any time («امسح النشاط» on your business page in the app). It leaves Zaghrouta at once, with its photos and documents, and this can't be undone. Bookings you already confirmed stay between you and the couples.

Liability

You are responsible for your services, your prices, your page and your agreements with couples. We don't guarantee bookings, enquiries or income, and we're not responsible for agreements between you and couples. The limits of liability in the terms of use apply. Nothing here limits rights that Egyptian law doesn't allow to be limited.

Changes, law and contact

When we change these terms, we update the date and version at the top, and if a change matters for your business, we tell you in the app before it applies. These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and the competent Egyptian courts decide disputes. They are available in Arabic and English; if they differ, the Arabic text prevails. Questions: [email protected].
